G-Lighting® M Series is a product family of high performance white light LED light sources designed especially for medical diagnostics and surgical applications. They produce the same luminance as conventional xenon and HID lamps and enable you to take full advantage of the countless benefits offered by LED for white illumination.
Technical notes:
Endoscope and Microscope use conventional light sources such as Halogen Lamp Mercury Lamp Xenon Lamp which have obvious disadvantages: Short lifetimes (need to change the bulbs frequently, normally 500 hours), wait for pre-heating and cool-down, high energy consumption, lead and other non-RoHS materials.
